Nissan Nuvu Concept

Nissan's Nuvu concept (think "New View") is Nissan's vision for the type of car we'll be driving in cities by the middle of next decade. Although it is an electric car, Nissan says the Nuvu is not the electric car the company recently announced it will sell in the U.S. and Japan in 2010. The Nuvu does carry some technology destined for the production vehicle.

As befitting a proper city car, the Nuvu is small: about a foot longer than a Smart Fortwo. A unique 2+1 seating arrangement allows for a third passenger when needed, or the seat can be folded down. Unlike many city cars, the Nuvu has enough luggage capacity for a proper supermarket run.

Of note, the Nuvu's roof has 12 small leaf-shaped solar panels, which charge the battery via a "tree-trunk" within the car. And to further emphasize the Nuvu's "green-ness," the cabin makes use of natural, organic and recycled materials.

"Nuvu is a concept car, for sure, but it is an entirely credible vehicle," says Francois Bancon, the general manager of Nissan's Exploratory and Advanced Planning Department.

We all know now a days.Cars are getting bigger. In our country Bigger cars can accommodate more space. Not like in this Nissan Nuvu. Its cute, simple and elegant. But the disadvantage of this car. It is operated by electronic. We have to charge it. And one thing I think it cant be use in a long distance travel. Its only within the city.

Samal Escapade

(sigh).. Its really an exhausted day.. Just got home from samal together with my mates in IT-2A. It is really a great bonding to all of us.. All of us is really happy. But before all that enjoyment happens. (wooh). From the the ferry Boat we walked in from there up to Isla Beach Resort. Which is really far from the Port. =D .. But despite of that , we still enjoy walking even though it was far.=p ... so, when we got there we ate immediately our lunch. Because we are really all hungry at that time. After we ate our lunch.. We all go to the beach and swim.. The weather is really good.So,we really enjoy swimming.. Actually, I still supposed to be there at this very moment of time. Because we supposed to have an overnight.But i went home . Because i haven't asked permission to my mom that we will have an overnight their at the beach . All that i said is that we will just go swimming. =( .. But im also satisfied that I'm with them the whole day. At least we have bonded together. I hope there will be next time. =D .. IT-2A is really the best...

Google Earth

Google Earth is a virtual globe program that was originally called Earth Viewer, and was created by Keyhole, Inc, a company acquired by Google in 2004. It maps the earth by the superimposition of images obtained from satellite imagery, aerial photography and GIS 3D globe. It is available under three different licenses: Google Earth, a free version with limited functionality; Google Earth Plus ($20 per year), which includes additional features; and Google Earth Pro ($400 per year), which is intended for commercial use.

Some other are saying if what features do we get from Google earth. Well, Google Earth view satellite imagery, maps, terrain, 3D buildings and even explores galaxies in the Sky. You can explore rich geographical content, save your toured places and share with others.

Google Earth has 2 kinds. Which is the Google Earth Plus and Google earth Pro. Google earth plus that you can import data from your GPS (Global Positioning System) handheld device such as tracks and waypoints while Google Earth Pro is significantly more expensive and offers such features as the fastest Google Earth performance, the ability to annotate maps with lines and polygons, and the ability to export high quality images. The disadvantage of using the Google earth is that many terrorists are now using this king of technology for them to pinpoint their attacks. It shows the satellite photographs show in detail the buildings inside the bases and vulnerable areas such as tented accommodation, lavatory blocks and where lightly armored Land Rovers are parked.

There is this case studies coming from the organization of Appalachian Voices. Which they have a project of Appalachian Mountaintop Removal for them to aim the goal of Show the impact of mountaintop removal coal mining. The site puts a human face on the issue by highlighting the stories of families living in the shadows of these mines. And the Google Earth has transformed how we think about the issue, because it not only allows millions of people around the world to see and explore the impact on our region, but it also allows people right here in Appalachia to see for themselves what is going on in the mountains above their homes and communities.

It was a great day yesterday night.Its faye's 18th birthday. It really really great because all the barkadas are there.. It seems like it is a big reunion to all of us =D .. we really have a great time with each other. I miss those time we were together everywhere we go..I miss those laughters we shared each other. What is resume? A resume is a form which is also called curriculum vitae is a document that contains a summary or listing of relevant job experience and education. The resume is typically the first item that a potential employer encounters regarding the job seeker and is typically used to screen applicants usually often followed by an interview, when seeking employment. In posting a resume through online helps you to find a job easily. In such way that many Companies are now hiring applicants in their company. You can post anytime you want your resume through online. One thing also is that you information will be available to the widest number of employers and recruiters in the shortest amount of time. You can presume that many larger companies are hiring you in that certain position and you don’t need to access every now and then through the net but instead of waiting for someone who will be calling for you.

But the advantage of posting your resume through online has its biggest disadvantage is that making your information open to the public. This makes the person who will fool you. And the thing that many people now a day is making fun. There will come a time that someone will call you not for qualifying you in the company but to sell you from something indifferent and will come just to nothing. And also in posting your resume in public results which gives a total loss of control of your personal information. To the point that you would have little or no legal protection even if someone misuses your information. So, many professionals also fail to realize that there is nothing that prevents their current employer from finding their resume online. Some companies have even begun to assign Human Resources staff to specifically monitor and locate their own employees on resume posting boards. And Companies believe that confidential information such as new technologies and marketing strategies could be at stake. If your resume is located by representatives of your company, this could not put you at risk in your career prospects.

Call Centers in the Philippines

What is Call Center? Well, call center is a centralized office used for the purpose of receiving and transmitting a large volume of requests by telephone. A call centre is operated by a company to administer incoming product support or information inquiries from consumers. Outgoing calls for telemarketing, clientele, product services, and debt collection are also made. In addition to a call centre, collective handling of letters, faxes, live chat, and e-mails at one location is known as a contact centre. Mostly I have heard about now a day is that call center. Call Center is a company in which mostly peoples are applying for. We all know that many people are now who are good in communication usually apply for a call center job. Many are saying that call center is an enjoyable job. Although you are assigned in a graveyard shift its still you will not get bored. But some other says that call center is a very exhausted job especially when they belong to a graveyard shift. Though it’s hard to some people who can’t adjust their times if ever they have some other affiliations. A call center also is a company needs numbers of applicants enable to entertain those clients who are asking to some needs. Here in the Philippines many call centers are hiring for some applicants. And I believe that this call centers are looking for a students who graduated in the course of IT. Because mostly call centers are connecting to technology. Like for example technical difficulties, Obviously IT can handle on those problems.
There are many challenges and opportunities are waiting for us. The challenges are those problems we usually encounter in our daily life when we are in work. The challenge here now is that the person will be challenge not because by her own understanding but in her staying in a call center. We might be able to enhance more on our communication skills. We can express it in a good manner way the way we talk to our clients. The way they use the words, accents, which we can improved more on that.
Many opportunities are waiting in all the call center companies. Especially to us IT students. Which they really looking for. Because we all know and they all know that that was the best work that fits on us. I was not saying that this is really your work until then. This call center company is just your starting point enable to have an experience until we can find a stable job. This will really help us when we are going to apply for another job. At least we have some proof that we have experience working in some companies. It seems like this is our way to our next level to success.
I might have no reaction on this. Because we all know that it is for our own good. We can barely just slip this away. It is an opportunity, which will lead us to the success that we are longing for. Let’s always remember that call center technology is a subject to improvement and innovations. It will help us to make this life enjoyable and fun.

Computer Literacy Program for Elem. School Children

When we say Literacy, It is the quality or a state of being in being literate in some other aspects example here in writing and reading. And also a person who has a knowledge in a particular field. In this generation now a days. We all know that computers are now really useful in some many ways. For making projects, doing the job easy. So, in making this far, there is this study about the Computer Literacy Program for Elem. School. In Some cases, I have noticed that many of the schools don’t have computers. Especially the public schools. I also noticed that the school who have computers are those school which is private which mostly parents sent their children their enable to have their child a good future. I was very disappointed to that matter in which public schools doesn’t have their computers for them to be literate about it. We all know that computers are known for gathering data, information, and make the work easier. But now in Elementary students, it is important for them to be trained on computer literacy. For them to cope up on what’s in. And also to know the importance of technology. I have red an article on a one site which tells about the literacy about computer, which the country of Sri Lanka who donated 30 used computers in rural schools. And here is this project that coordinated by Deshan Nanayakkara, one of the US coordinators of the Empower Village. And personally took these to Sri Lanka and trained students and teachers fro two weeks on computer literacy. The Advantage of this project is that many students were helped by Mr. Nanayakkara, It is really advantage to learn computer at the early age for us many students could make something new on our technology right now. One problematic element of many (though not all) "computer literacy" or computer education programs is that they may resort too heavily on rote memorization. Students may be taught, for example, how to perform several common functions (e.g.: Open a file, Save a file, Quit the program) in very specific ways, using one specific version of one specific program. When a graduate of such a program encounters a competing program, or even a different version of the same program, they may be confused or even frightened by the differences from what they learned.
Computers may have some Advantage and disadvantage on elementary students. First to tackle the advantage. Advantage f this is that you can make this task easier. Students can easily surf on the net if ever they have some projects. To think computer made our life easier. The disadvantage also is that computer may be destroying the studies of each student. Especially those who are addict on it. That will distract on students future. We all know now a days, many online games are implemented so there will be possible happen that the student will be tempted on it. The student can’t go to school anymore instead of staying in the café just to play online games spending their money in a non important thing.
To be implemented this computer literacy in the Philippines; we all know that many public schools can’t afford to buy computers for the sake on this program. But it is really important to have computers on their school so that students will learn more things about computer. I might wondering what does the government doing. It is their responsibility to take good care of the public schools. Why it that they don’t donate any computers in is schools at least one computer, so that the students just have some activity on it. So that in the future students may be able to have a good curriculum in their school. Although it’s not that good at least they have experience on what the importance of computers. And also to be able to know the basic functions on it.

Distance Learning

Distance learning is a type of online virtual online school. It is the field of education which focuses on the pedagogy which means is the art or science of being a teacher which generally refers to strategies of instruction, or a style of instructions. In the Distance learning. Students and teachers communicate or met each other through online and media communications. In this technology student allows to take the course they want to. And with this student don’t need to go to school campus and have their attendance regularly. It sometimes called the E-learning, short for electronic learning. This formalizes teaching and learning system which designed to be carried out remotely by the use of this electronic communication.

The positive effects of distance learning is to help other student who cannot go to school because of having some diseases and some are in a long distance that cannot go to the city to enroll where they want. The distance learning is the big help for all of them because they can access the school whether they are at home. They can also join the discussion, and they can take the assignment and the exam while they are at home or out of the country but the negative effect of this type of school the students are now irresponsible for not attending at school all they want is to be with there computers. And the negative effects of this distance learning are that, it does not offer immediate feedbacks. This regularly in classroom settings, students can be assessed their performance immediately. It’s either through questions or informal testing. With this distance learning student has to wait for the response until the professor does not review yet their work. Unlike in the classroom setting it can be assessed their performance immediately. And also distance communication doesn’t give the opportunity of the student to work on their oral communication skills. This is very important to everybody.

If I were to decide if it is applicable to grade school, high school, college and graduate studies. I would prefer to be done by the graduate studies. Because even though they are just communicating through online at least those graduate studies has the knowledge about this e-learning system. Unlike the grade school and high school students they need to be thought. They need to be assessed immediately. But college student also applicable to use this e-learning system. Especially the student is handicapped and they want to learn. E-learning must be the best way of assessing themselves although they are just home.

So, if I were to ask if I like to enroll in a distance learning system. I won’t allow myself to do that way. Instead of going to a campus and have some proper learning and can be assessed immediately by the professors. And also there are many things that we have to make outside our house. We have to socialize to some other people engaged to something better about ourselves. And be responsible enough.

Its been a great weekend. yesterday we joined the audition for the CSI dance contest at nccc mall of Davao. There were lots of dance groups who joined in the said contest. and we are one of those FACES and FOG. Unluckily we didn't make it . But the FOG make it to the top 20. I hope they can do it till the end. We the Faces. well, were ok. Better luck next time. There will be more many Chances for us. Well, actually it was our first time to join that contest. Although we did not make it. Its still a big opportunity for us. At least we did our best. I know we can do it next time. There will be more contest to come. Up to here. Failures

Many people really expect me a lot... which i really hate most..
i really dont know if why is it.. they have lots of expectations...
its hard for me to reach for somthing that is impossible for me to do..
i know i have the capacity to do those things.. But i am just afraid to commit failures
in my life. This was really my fear..To commit Mistakes in my life..
because i am really afraid that people will tell me what kind of person am I..
That i havn't gave importance on what they have given to me.. In this oppurtunity they have given to me.. I really treasure on this things... All im asking is that just dont pressure me..
Coz even my single time.. i did not waste the money they spent with me..
All i can say to them is.. i will reach my goal.. Up to were i can be..whatever obstacles will come to my life.. i will not loose hope
