What is resume? A resume is a form which is also called curriculum vitae is a document that contains a summary or listing of relevant job experience and education. The resume is typically the first item that a potential employer encounters regarding the job seeker and is typically used to screen applicants usually often followed by an interview, when seeking employment. In posting a resume through online helps you to find a job easily. In such way that many Companies are now hiring applicants in their company. You can post anytime you want your resume through online. One thing also is that you information will be available to the widest number of employers and recruiters in the shortest amount of time. You can presume that many larger companies are hiring you in that certain position and you don’t need to access every now and then through the net but instead of waiting for someone who will be calling for you.


But the advantage of posting your resume through online has its biggest disadvantage is that making your information open to the public. This makes the person who will fool you. And the thing that many people now a day is making fun. There will come a time that someone will call you not for qualifying you in the company but to sell you from something indifferent and will come just to nothing. And also in posting your resume in public results which gives a total loss of control of your personal information. To the point that you would have little or no legal protection even if someone misuses your information. So, many professionals also fail to realize that there is nothing that prevents their current employer from finding their resume online. Some companies have even begun to assign Human Resources staff to specifically monitor and locate their own employees on resume posting boards. And Companies believe that confidential information such as new technologies and marketing strategies could be at stake. If your resume is located by representatives of your company, this could not put you at risk in your career prospects.
